Many wrinkles appeared.

Tutorial with M. Westwood on Mon 29 Nov.
Honestly I have no idea about this tutorial because I couldn't understand mostly his speaking. He didn't seem to care my English level so it was really difficult. That's my blame. I have to improve my English for my study.
Anyway, in our conversation, he asked me that there is special meaning using apples. He thought that apple is a symbol of male. But my answer is no. I just painted many apples at the time as an experiment because apple is nonperishable. Apple is simply one of fruit.
He also recommended an artist URS FISCHER and his current exhibition in London.

Others
I probably saw the other aspect of fruit by painting. |
I tried to draw a picture on apple's surface by brush but result was not my interest. |
Gauguin
Gauguin:Tate Modern 30 Sep.2010 – 16 Jan.2011
I saw Gauguin’s exhibition for looking for a relation with my project. I’m gonna test out tomorrow.
Anyway, I got to be interested in his strong thick outline around objects. It seemed to reject for depth or relation between objets and space around object. That is a technic called 'Cloisonnisme' used by the Paul Gauguin and Emile Benard. It is characterized by areas of flat colour surrounded by heavy out line.
shape, colour, texture
Relationship between geometric shape and loosely painting using plastic bottles. The idea came from René Daniëls and Gauguin. I also tried to paint colour on other stuff.
Like a toy
What's going on here? They look like a scattered toy. Putting them on the floor disconnects from proper function of them. They don't rally look like food any more.
White is something different from others. The existence is intense.
René Daniëls
Painting on Unknown Languages in Camden arts centre. Paintings are focused on his work between 1980 and 1987.
Honestly, I didn't expect fantastic something in this exhibition before seeing his paintings because I thought it was a kind of normal when I saw it on the Internet. However, it was totally different from my first impression. Most paintings are loosely painted and rough brushstroke. The shape which looks like a perspectival drawing of a rooms appears again ad again. It made me feel depth of space so that I was comfortable with the shapes. The forms are geometric shape but distributing is very rough and intuitive. That is to say, there are harmony including primary colours.
